Azure Stack’s third technical preview arrives

Azure Stack, Microsoft’s hybrid cloud system, is getting close to release. On Wednesday, the tech giant unveiled the third major public beta for customers that want to test it out.

The new release brings a handful of additional capabilities for users to test, like support for Azure D-Series virtual machine sizes and deployment with ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) to support systems that don’t have constant connections to Azure. Technical Preview 3, as this release is known in Microsoft parlance, will get a handful of other features over the coming months, including support for Azure Functions and Active Directory multi-tenancy.

Azure Stack preview reveals Microsoft’s hybrid cloud vision

Azure Stack, Microsoft’s private cloud software built from the same bits used to create the public Azure cloud service, is now available in its third, and likely final, technical preview edition before being released to the public later this year.

TP3 has many new features, but it also clarifies Azure Stack’s pricing structure, and how Microsoft is addressing the specific problems customers are using Azure Stack for.

LG V20 Vs LG V10: Hands On Preview, Photo Comparison

The LG V10 was my favorite phone of last year, and though it hasn’t been my daily driver for a few months, it’s still my go-to phones when I want to lay in my bed reading articles at night. I just love how it feels in my hand — those steel railings and that kevlar-like back. (For those who might be wondering: my daily driver right now is back to the Huawei P9 Plus. It was the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 for the past month, but I had to send the phone back to Singapore for an exchange, and who knows how long that’ll take because the recall process in Singapore has been one giant mess).
